I talked to a couple people about this including an immigration attorney as I am planning on moving to a new state and taking a new job. They all pretty much said that this should not hinder the application and it should not delay anything either. As long as in 06 your income met the guidelines of 125% above the poverty level.

I am going to be moving to another city.. Would it be okay to file the fiance visa now and then move ??

Can I just submit a change of address later??

A change of address after filing a petition is no big problem as long as you successfully notify USCIS of your new address before they mail the approval notice. It will not delay your process unless you miss the mailing of any RFE. Other than an RFE, you don't interact by mail through the K1 visa process. The foreign fiance will receive two mailings from the Embassy or Consulate, however.

If you can use a mailing address of a family member instead of your own, you can avoid the risk of any mail being returned to USCIS. They have a no forward policy. Another option is a rented mailbox someplace like the UPS Store.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
