Is it normal to wait this long?

My wife had her CR1 interview on 08/24 and she was approved. However, we haven't heard anything since from the Amsterdam embassy. The "Case Last Updated" field updates every couple of days on CEAC status site, but status itself hasn't changed from READY. She has still not gotten her passport back. I am starting to freak out a little. Is it somewhat normal?

How can she have interviewed on 8/24 if it's only the 7th? I'm guessing you meant July 24, in which case only two weeks have past. I have read about people getting their passports back in less time but I think two weeks is still within the range of normal.

Is there any way to inquire? I had mine on July 26th and had my visa issued a day later and passport back in my hands on July 31st (but I did pick it up myself).

I know that my timeline was pretty fast but I would email the embassy directly and inquire.

I had mine on the 26th and just received my passport back yesterday. But it changed into Administrative Processing on the 2nd and Issued on the 3rd.

Any chance you can email them?

I had my interview yesterday and I was approved. The consular officer told me it could take up to ten days before I would have my visa, apparently it is really busy over there. It used to take 3-5 days.

Happy Friday. Still no visa/passport back and no email response back from the consulate.

CEAC status stuck on READY. Last updated 8/8/2018. :(

This morning it changed to administrative processing and a few hours later it changed to issued.

I was really getting worried. Glad it is over.
