How long is a typical K1 Interview in Manila?

Fiancé had a 8:40 am Appointment and the phone is in the hotel but still no word, I feel like I'm waiting for a baby to be born lol

Waiting. All the interviews are set at one time, but they need to 1) wait to get into the embassy, 2) wait for them to open the doors to the interview area, 3) go through security, 4) wait in line for the pre-interview/review of documents, 5) get biometrics done, and 6) interview.

My wife's K-1 interview at USEM last year was scheduled for 8:40 AM but we didn't get to the hotel (right down the road from the embassy) until after 10:30 AM. And we were certainly not the last K-1 applicants that day...quite a few were still waiting their turn.

Hahaha the interview itself will take only 5-10 minutes but there are a lot of people inside with her for interview as well. She might be waiting for her turn. The waiting i think takes longer than the interview..When i went for my interview which was scheduled 7:10am i was there as early as 5am. Lol..well they let us in 6:40am..I was out of the premises with a smile and teary eyes lol @8:12am..

Hi anyone know how long it takes to get the interview date after NVC is complete with their process

Your asking your question in the Philippines forum to which many of us are not familiar with your country. Can I suggest that you use the tab at the top of the page that says "forums" and then scroll 3/4 the way down the page and locate the sub-forum for your region. That is a good place for you to ask about country specific information.

Some are experiencing 2-4 weeks that their Embassy receives and has set your record to "ready". Your mileage may very.

No :( We are a bit heartbroken right now.

I want to PH 3 times to meet her: 3 days, one week and one week. The first time I flew her to Manila and we spent 3 days together, since then we were exclusive and that was a year and 1/2 ago. Then one week in Boracay about 6 months later, then the last time  ( May. I should have married her but thought we would get the K1)I flew her her family and best friend to Cebu to meet them all and we spent the whole time with them.

She is from Zamboanga and I was told its dangerous for westerners. We have hundreds of pictures, she was never married and I'm divorced from another K1 Visa ex-wife .They don't give a reason but maybe thats it. I have a lot of soul searching to do it's a long story but to get to PH now I would need to quit my job (maybe I should I hate it anyway) but worried if I dont find a new one when I get back, they will deny the next visa due to unable to support her ( bull, I always take care of my family) .

I hear don't bother with the appeal? We are so upset, I told her I will figure this out somehow.

Sorry to hear ... she was issued a denial.      Do watch your/her email for an email from the embassy.           You will want to know the reason for the denial so you can address this before filing again.

And you are about right regarding an appeal, cheaper to start anew.
