Medical examination completed in the PH - is Skin Test still required for AOS?

Hi everyone, just wanted to see if you can help me. I heard from someone that even if I have completed my medical examination and received all the vaccines in the Philippines last April 2018 (I have my DS3025 with me), I still have to get a TB Skin Test for my AOS application. 

 

Can you please confirm if this is true? This is the first time I heard about it.

Did you receive a chest X-ray or a Tb test during the medical? Is so, did it come back positive? 

 

You should be fine as long as you apply for AOS before April 2019, IF you had either a chest X-ray or a Tb skin test and the results were negative. 

 

FYI: Some countries have the BCG vaccine for tuberculosis and in these cases the doctor performing the test in the home country may chose to do a chest x-ray for tuberculous, instead of taking a chance on a false positive on Tb skin test. The US does not give the BCG vaccine so the tb test is common here. My husband from Australia was required to get a chest X-ray during his K1 medical because of the BCG vaccine. He was not required to repeat the Tb test or chest X-ray for AOS  application process because he applied for AOS within a year of his K1 overseas medical.
