Is there a way to verify that the medical packet is indeed at the Embassy?? I've tried to look through the forums here for answers. My interview is tomorrow. It will be 8 working day's since medical appointment. I'm just worried it's not there yet. I've called both Knightsbridge and the American Embassy with no answers. Thanks for any info you can provide.

There's nothing you can do to get it there, so no point in worrying now. You'll find out tomorrow. If it's there, you get the visa in about a week. If not there, you'll just wait a little bit longer.

To answer the question, there is no online verification of yes or no concerning medical arrival.

As @Wuozopo said, no online verification, The only thing other people have done is e-mailed / called to see if they have been sent. Good luck with your interview!!

Hi! Just wondering if your medical had arrived :) Right now we have 8 working days between medical/interview in September but I am thinking of pushing the interview out a few days just in case that's not enough time.

Thanks!

Went to K-1 interview yesterday, it was not there. Called both Embassy and Knightsbridge today, it is not at the Embassy yet. Tomorrow will be 10 working day's. I hope it's there tomorrow!

Mine were also not at the embassy, so I'll be calling them again today to find out what's going on.

I think that is crazy for medical results to take that length of time to get to the embassy. That is the reason I left one full month between my medical and interview as I gathered they aren’t the quickest. I will be taken back if the same happens with me next month. Can’t wait to get this medical over and done with on Saturday. Disgraceful you have to wait so long. Surely you would think that they should have a sister medical department with such delays. Massive eye rolls 🤣

Update for you all!

The lady who deals with them being sent to the embassy was off sick Thursday and Friday, she has confirmed that mine will be sent today, so I imagine everyone else's that's been 100% reviewed will be as well.

Pretty disgraceful though that only one person is able to deal with this, since this is the only place you can get VISA medicals done!

Oh massive congrats!!!!!!! That’s wonderful news. How was your interview? I’m having anxiety over it but I know I’ll be fine once I’m there. Just very daunting waiting, waiting etc!

It was over quickly, the people you speak with are very friendly. I got approved pending my medical results being received (didn't get around to posting a full review yet as I was freaking about my medical!). Still doesn't feel real, and still worried yet another thing will happen to delay everything! So I don't think I'll be happy until the status changes to "Issued" and I have my passport back.

I was so worried they would tell me I'd need a new passport as a couple of my pages are a bit warped from water damage when something leaked in my bag but they didn't say anything about it so that was good!

All is going to come together beautifully for you now. But I know what you mean about the ‘issued’ status. I’m hoping I have all the required documents for my medical. I’ll PM you something.

Knightsbridge verified my medical was sent out last week when I called them Friday August 10th, they said they were sent out at the beginning of the week. Again my Visa interview was August 8th. For three working days now the Embassy will not verify that my medical is there???? This is getting REDICULOUS!!!!

I hear you. it's my understanding the delivery to the embassy takes 48 hours, but if they sent them last Monday.. then that doesn't seem right. willing to bet Knightsbridge did not send them. I personally have had way too much stress with this, so I'm just gonna wait, check my status in a week or so and see what the situation is at that point. i am so done worrying about all of this and getting annoyed :(
