Hi,

I filed for my greencard in Chicago from a K1 visa AOS (november 2017) and got my work permit card on the mail and everything. My bio appt. happened in december but I haven't received any notices for an interview on the mail and my I-485 never changed from "fingerprint fee received". I sent out an inquiry about the status of my case but no answer so far. Is anyone else going through the same thing? Is there anything else I should do?

Sorry to say but this is totally normal. At least you got your EAD in a timely manner. Depending on your field office, it may take another 6-10 months to get the interview scheduled. There is no way to know how long. It just happens when it happens.

As stated above, it's  normal. I filed for AOS from a K1 visa in November, and my case status didn't change until June when it changed to 'ready to schedule your interview'. I did a case query online and did an info pass appointment in April as I needed EAD/AP to travel. It took 3 months to get a reply to the inquiry, which I eventually received the day after I'd already had my AOS interview, and the update just said something like 'The current status is that your interview has been scheduled'.
