I was wondering has anyone had airline/hotel tickets brought by a friend who traveled with them? How much does it matter if it was purchased by you or that friend? Can the tickets or passport stamps be printed from the email alone or does it have to be the actually physical versions? Hotel/Airline tickets, Passport stamps, are ok alone or is more needed regarding this kind of proof?

You want to prove you two have met within 2 years. One way of proving is putting you two in the same place at the same time. Best way to show this is having passport stamps, boarding passes (tickets are only proof of buying them but not necessarily using them), receipts of purchases such as hotels, meals, etc in the location of the visit.

If the email is proof of purchase, it’s valid. If the friend purchased things in your name that can be valid, but I did no understand what you’re trying to explain about the friend in this situation

As long as your name is on the travel document it does not matter who bought. Actual boarding passes are better than email confirmation ( those can be faked )
