Btw, what is generally not illegal about what Hillary did with Steele.  I believe they soliticied him for the information and then laundered the payment marking it as legal work,why not pay them directly from the campaign.

The fact that the Steele dossier was used as a basis to spy on political enemies is what troubles me.  I guess that is part and parcel of the politicization of the previous administration.

 

Apart from that, I tend to rely on Dershowitz and Turley when it comes to the legal analysis.  They are certainly not fans of Trump, but they also understand the law and of course Now are paying the price from the biased MDL media.

it's not so much who is believable but what they are saying. the andrew mccarthy bit you posted is not evidence that the "dossier was used as a basis to spy on political enemies"
