I’m an IR!but not too sure of the others. Usually you can click on the profile and see the category of each individual.

Ive been trying to read other visa journey sites but haven’t seen any other consulate dates given since that last July 21st date last week. Anyone else seeing anything or have any insight?

Haven't seen anything, either. I'm July 26th so I was pretty disappointed that I didn't get it last Friday. This is agony!

Yes it is!!! I feel like my life is on an indefinite hold and who knows when it ends!?!? I wish the NVC or the consulate would give some sort of information so that it wouldnt feel like we are in the dark.

ill certainly post when I hear something!

Definitely. I'm 6 months pregnant so I am eager to have this baby in the States, with my husband! I'll also update as soon as something happens.

Well, I’m waiting to hear about my interview in my cottage with no heat source but at least I’m not expecting. I’m 2 and a half weeks behind you so it’s heartbreaking to me that you haven’t heard yet. That means I’ll definitly be well into November just for the interview. Looks like i’ll Be couch surfing for a month once the lake freezes.

Now I’m wishing more for you to hear Bethany than I am for myself.

Oh, that makes me so happy! Good luck with the medical and I'll be thinking of you on the 31st.

Thank you! I have booked my medical for next week, and I am sure it will go well. I have all my vaccinations. I just need 5 passport photos. And my pharmacy is faxing over my list of meds to the doctor.

Piece of advice:

Ensure you have proof of all your immunizations that are required. They are posted on the Consulate doctors website.

Ive seen many people on here freaking out because they weren’t prepared. I had to get a blood test, receive the results and get certain shots to meet the requirements.

Also their are other requirements you can you can prepare for in the meantime, like (x5) US passport photos, doctors note for certain conditions/reasons and possible evidence, etc.

Always better to be prepared :)

How do you prove immunizations if you live abroad and lost childhood records? Should I get some boosters now like MMR, Tetanus?

I lost mine and did all of them again at my family doctor's office (except for HBV which I have a proof of immunity).

Hey guys,

I am a newbie here. We got CC on July 17th 2019. Do you guys know how long it will take until the interview? and can we pass the border (with a Canadian passport) while waiting?

I visit my husband often but I also drive/have a long history of crossing. Pack light. Be VERY honest. Tell them where you are in the waiting process.

On another note, it's a brutal wait. I'm CC May 2nd...and there are people with CC at end of April who are still waiting. Buckle down.

Kartinee23 can you add mrSam and Shaik to our private group? I can't figure it out X_X

our cc was April 10th, 2019. still waiting for the interview date. Is there anyone in the same boat.

Lots of us. Are you a perm resident of Canada or citizen? Seems to be a different wait time depending. There's a private message group with a bunch of us. You're the earliest I've found so far. Most of us are end of April waiting and onward. I'll see if I can add you.

Get a blood test at your doctors office and they'll determine what you've got and can update them if needed.
