Guys, here's my dilemma: my fiance bought a brand new car about four months before we met. Now, she wants to try and find someone to buy her car, so that she will no longer have to pay on it, and be debt-free when she moves here to the US. My question is, has anybody here had a beneficiary from Spain, who went through something similar? If so, how did you handle it? I don't know the laws in Spain regarding such things, but we want to do the right thing, as regards this debt, and a good proper way of resolving it.

Please, if anybody has any sort of experience with this, whether personally or second hand, please chime in! Recently, we got approved, and our case has been transferred to NVC. We are simply trying to get everything as prepared as we can for her to come to the United States. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Did she pay the full price? If she did and she is not making monthly payments, then she just have to find someone interested and change it to his/her name and get the money.
If she's asking for it..sadly I never found myself in that position but I guess she could try to sell it with the money and make the other person pay the rest of the debt..

Probably best selling it.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
