Document number for travel with i-551 stamp ROC

Hoping maybe someone has gone thru this. We are currently in ROC for my wife's greencard in the CSC processing center :(. Our one year extension letter just expired. We received an i-551 stamp from our local USCIS office that is valid until next year so we are good on that. We booked a cruise and one of the questions is what is the document number. When we sailed with the valid green card I always put in the card number. On the stamp I see her A number and WAC case number that 751 is pending. Do I still use the expired greencard's card number?

I would. Then I'd print out something from an official website (USCIS, CBP) saying how the stamp is the equivalent of a GC.

Thanks for the info. Wasn't sure if I should use her canadian passport document number since the stamp is in there. Come CSC speed up

You COULD do that, too. It being a Canadian passport, that'd work also.
