Joint sponsor checklist?

Hey, I was wondering if the joint sponsor needs to submit any other documents besides the I-864? If so, what are they?

Along with the form, we sent in a copy of her permanent resident card (back and front), her latest W-2 and 3 years IRS Tax transcript.

So if he's a Citizen a copy of a birth certificate will do?

Yes, I believe so. Or a US passport.

What does the employment letter need to say?

his job position, how long has he been in the company and how much does he earn, it can be by the hour

 

the letter must be on company letterhead
