We applied for the I 485 after our marriage. I've received my Permanent Resident Card in the mail a few days ago but I thought my husband and I have to go to an interview first and all that good stuff. All I had taken were my 2 Biometrics. Do we need to interview for something else or what is that infamous interview everybody is talking about? What do I apply for now that I have the Permanent Resident Card? I'm confused....

I appreciate any advice.

Congratulations - that's great! What you have is the conditional green card and yes, some folks (my husband and I being another such example - and many other folks on these forums) do not need to have an interview. I would suggest that you read the guides as they explain the next step after receiving the conditional Permanent Resident Card.

 Cool thanx. I read a little bit about the next steps now and know what to do next :) I guess I imagined the whole process a little bit more difficult... Well I'm more than glad it wasn't lol

I guess we can lay back and live application free for a while :pop:

It happens a lot, at least out of CSC. Claudeth also received her card without an interview. Congratulations
