Says to list all children.

I have no children of my own but the wife has 2.

Do I list my step-children or leave blank?

Thanks in advance :D

Timeline.

Married in UK 31st Dec 2004.

Settled in UK short-term because immigration to UK is a normal, sensible, straightforward and understandable procedure. It follows a process of commonsense and logical thinking. The paperwork is processed in a timescale you would expect from normal human beings. We can also enjoy the comedy of being subjected to US immigration protocol without the frustration of being apart. It's very amusing from this vantage point.

the DS-230 is for the person immigrating to fill out....if you are the one immigrating and you have no children then you would put none....if your wife is the one immigrating then she would list the names of her children

DS 230 part I is the Biographic data of the beneficiary (one who is emigrating to USA). So based on your information:

1. If you are the beneficiary, then write "NONE."

2. If your wife is the beneficiary, she has to write down the names, dates and places of births, and address(es) of her 2 children. She needs to provide these information, even if her 2 children are not emigrating to USA with her. If her 2 children are accompanying her to USA, then a separate DS-230 Part I has to be filled out for each child. If her 2 children are not emigrating with her to USA, then filling out a separate DS 230 Part I for each child is not needed.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
