YeaH!!!😊

On hold for 1 hour(speakerphone), but yeah...we were assigned a case number already...

I asked Jesicca last week to just quit her job so she can do the running around..for I want to go fast...

Now with case number,  things are going fast..

I arrive in Manila on 22nd...so we have time to get a few things done...

she has time to do things before I arrive..

BTW, ST. Luke's is closed Aug 21 and Aug 27, due to Holidays

IF all goes well...she might be on the same flight as me as I return...:joy::yes:

Great news!

You arrive Manila 8/22 or 9/22?

Once you receive your case number it's time to be in charge of what time you choose when things get down. To smooth that trail for your I have a few things that will help you process your visa there in the Philippines.

Start by visiting Hanks site where he has taken the time and research, and of course it helps if you spent 8 plus years helping folks in the Philippines sub-forum get their visas, where he has listed each step. With those steps he includes the what, when and why to completing the item. Many have used the website and have had little or NO problems securing a visa from USEM.

http://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

Next you'll want to connect with those who are processing through the Philippines in the VJ Philippines sub-forum that way you will be with like minded ppl who are sharing their experiences and also asking and answering questions. Since most in this thread are processing through another country they would be hard pressed to explain what is needed for the Philippines.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

You'll find this on Hank's website but I will give it to you early and that is the Packet 3 Letter for USEM. It's found here:

https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/

Here is the Packet 3 letter.

https://ph.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/82/2016/08/K1-and-K2-Applicant-Interview-Preparation-Instructions-08112016-English-336KB.pdf

There you have it. Everything you need to get your visa. Good luck and smooth sailing.

On the Letter it has 08/01/2018

I plan on calling them in a few hours...as in 12 noon my time is 6pm (NVC)theirs...

but that is 6am Phil's time..so if the case number is made, we can start to schedule...

I arrive in Philippines next week..and I hope first to have Her St. Lukes taken care of upon my arrival. (wishful thinking)

St. Lukes is first come first served. Best days are Wed and Thurs as Mon and Tues the K2's are there because they don't results for three days so Mom's like to go on Monday and Tuesday so they don't have any problems.

If you want to you could do St. Lukes on Monday and Tues even with all the others and then Wed do CFO and Thurs/Fri do the interview. 2 weeks later you have the visa in hand. Return back to CFO for the sticker and then to the airport for the flight out of the Phil. Very doable. That is if she doesn't have any medical issues like TB.

Jesicca has child and we are doing K-2 for her.  So extra day of process for K-2 child..ok..

I like how you have everything lined up..

I arrive this month, 22..and leave mid Sept 11..so the time frame  has some flex.

Her tickets are not purchased as of yet..but mine are.

Start getting your documents together. And once you receive your case number complete the ds-160 pay your visa fee schedule your interview Schedule the Medical and complete CFO. Don't buy tickets for them till their visa is in their hands.

Any help would be appreciated on this St.Lukes question.

She went and will go back for results and vaccinations.

Will she receive medical packet then, or days later?

It's just sad, there are people waiting before me too - but the working of USCIS is simply pathetic + they don't give any answers - just keep WAITING AND WAITING AND WAITING....

I have actually no hopes now, don't know when will the approval come.

Arrived back home with the fiancée (and the luckiest Ukrainian Pomeranian of all time) yesterday morning.  We are so relieved and a little exhausted, still.  We’ll get started on the SSN paperwork soon.

Quote from a customs officer after we were detained by Customs, as is standard ops, for K1 entry visa interview at JFK airport:  “you know you gotta get married by November, right? I don’t know much more about it so here you go, have a nice day.”  😂

Just wanted to mention that the transportation of pets can be tricky.  While the USA merely requires proof of rabies vaccination, remember that it must be translated into English.   We additionally got vet’s a bill of health, required by Ukraine and supposedly also required by Delta Air but not checked, officially translated for a small fee.

I’d brought an airline-approved soft pet carrier and checked with and paid both UIA and Delta’s pet fees, $125 per booking.  You want to do this early because flights usually don’t allow more than 2 animals per flight.  We did encounter another dog on one of our flights.
