I don’t know what they have on the case because they told us something different everytime. My finance asked if he can send the info we know we need to add anywhere for them to receive and they just say call back in two weeks 🤷🏼‍♀️ So I imagine they won’t fax anything. However, if they brush us off again in two weeks I will get him to ask.

You can wait which is always a choice but in this case it's going to be another two weeks. Me, I'd call and get them to fax a copy. Good luck.

I would call back and ask for an RFE fax. It will clarify if you have an RFE at least. If you ask for a fax and they say “you don’t have an RFE” at least you know where you stand. Maybe your case is stuck in a loophole and I would ask them to have someone above them look into it and get your Congressman involved. Anything is better then sitting an waiting 2 more weeks. I really hope this gets straightened out for you!!

Hi everyone, whoever is left.

Still waiting here! This is the final day that they had to respond for our request for out of processing and they still haven’t bothered so.... I’m pretty annoyed and bored of this whole dysfunctional system now.

We are Dec 04 filers... still waiting

RFE request 06/27

RFE response received 07/12

Inquiry sent for past due processing times: 07/24

response received: 08/10

the response said our case was still being adjucated and we should hear something in 45 days.

the RFE was just a check box that we missed (our lawyer missed) on the application.

I don't understand why they haven't approved us. I called on Wednesday and talked to 2 people. The first said we are way past processing time and transferred me to a horrible woman who was so unhelpful. Any tips on when I call back?

I cant believe we are still waiting ...

This doesn't seem right? Usually RFEs are resolved well under 30 days after they are recieved.

I know I've been watching on here and see that most people get their NOA2 within a couple days or weeks of the reply being received.

Our case did not have any evidence issues it was merely a checkbox that was left blank. I really hope we are just stuck in a pile somewhere and will get approved soon.

Congratulations... quick response on ur rfe...

Thank you! I actually called on Friday afternoon to inquire about our case as we were outside normal processing time and a service inquiry was opened. I was given the standard 30 days response to the service inquiry. Saturday morning at 6.00AM I get a text and an email from USCIS saying "we took a decision on your case, please login onto your account". So I logged onto the new website and there was our approval!!

I have to say I had to answer some very weird questions while on call with the USCIS officer. He kept asking me about my fiance and referred to him as my "husband" and he kept asking me if we were married and if my husband was here in the States. These were tricky questions trying to get me to fall and answer yes and as such, lead to an immediate denial. I felt like I was at an interview, the whole phone conversation took about half hour... very weird... this is their new technique now...beware!!

I kept correcting the officer telling him: No Sir, he is not my husband, he is my fiance and no we didn't get married yet as we are waiting for the visa to be approved and we will do so upon his arrival to the United States...and No Sir my fiance is not here as he cannot enter the United States without a visa ...

Very weird indeed... I felt at first it did more harm then good my call and felt really depressed when they told me 30 more days, and then boom the next day the approval.

Thank God!!
