@A_R you are the first person i wanted share this with. Dont give up. I got the mail of 45 days wait the same time you did and found out a while ago that we got approved!

Hi everyone, whoever is left.

 

Still waiting here! This is the final day that they had to respond for our request for out of processing and they still haven’t bothered so.... I’m pretty annoyed and bored of this whole dysfunctional system now.

They just responded to my fiancé (we used my email address) to say that - after the full 30 days they had to respond - their “records show” that he (the petitioner) is unauthorised to access this information... on his own petition... that they addressed to him. 

 

I’ve never dealt with such a terrible department. Honestly.

Wow... that has to be the weirdest answer I have ever seen. Can’t tell the petitioner anything on the case they files. Wow🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈

Congrats as well!!  So glad you got approved.  Very long wait, but at least its over now for that part!

Thank you! It was such a LONG WAIT.  Idk why our case took that long to process... Thanks god we were approved without RFE.

I'm the petitioner, and I received the same exact answer two weeks ago so I called into USCIS the next day.  Tier 1 had no idea what she had to tell me so she transferred me over to Tier 2.  Tier 2 basically said that my case is "processing without issues" and that a lot of cases are backlogged.  I tried to get more info from her but she just kept reiterating that there wasn't any issue with the case and it's being processed. 

 

NOA1 on new site is Dec 11th so it's been 8 months now.  I'm probably one of the oldest December stragglers now.

Make another call and ask for a tier 2. That's completely wrong. Somebody is messing with you.

Congratulations everyone that got approved!! And for those who are still waiting, hang in there. This process is exhausting and difficult, and it really makes us go crazy. But please hang in there! Your turn will come.

We called again. Spoke to tier 2. They said “you have to wait another two weeks to call back again” having told us that there is an RFE on the system that hasn’t been sent yet. Last time we called it was an NOID, the time before that it was nothing, the time before that it was a denial. 

 

Is it too too much to ask to be able to be told factually accurate information about what is going on with my life? Or... 

 

This process is damaging.

If they have an RFE on your case you can have them fax thou a copy. Just ask.

I don’t know what they have on the case because they told us something different everytime. My finance asked if he can send the info we know we need to add anywhere for them to receive and they just say call back in two weeks 🤷🏼‍♀️ So I imagine they won’t fax anything. However, if they brush us off again in two weeks I will get him to ask.
