You might try both options below.

First try submitting an inquiry using this link from the Ombudsman; submit your request online.  If you have already submitted online but did not receive a confirmation email with your case number, the submission did not go through.  Please try again.

If you have not submitted Form DHS-7001, Case Assistance Form, online or made other arrangements with our office to file on paper, we will not respond to any emails.

Second try your U.S. representative's contact information can be found in this handy directory, and your U.S. senator's information is in this one.

If you receive a response and it contains anyone of these sentences this will be the meaning of that phrase. (see typical response below)

If the CSC response is due to a congressional case worker inquiry, the service center will say "security checks"

If the CSC response is from a regular service inquiry from their website, the service center will say "adjudication"

My lawsuit is drafted. Going to file it in about a week after consultation with a lawyer. 8 more days until the 1 year mark. Absurd.

I'm sorry that you are experiencing this set back. I am "fresh" when it comes to this procedure is there any chance you would be willing to share each step of the way with us and the outcome. This would be a learning experience and one that can be shared with others in their pursuit of closing this part of the process.

My first question is how did you go about choosing a Lawyer?

I wish you all the best in your quest.

I am filing it Pro Se since this type of lawsuit seems rather straightforward. (hopefully)

If successful, I would be glad to post my experience and help everyone experiencing unreasonable delays in suing the USCIS. I accept donations. ;)

I wish you the best of luck hun🤗 Unfortunately I know this is not the way you wanted things to go. But finally at the end of this, you will finally be reunited with your loved one.  And years later you will look back at this venture and just smile and see its worth beside you. (Even though we are boiling pots at this point) Stay strong, stay positive! Answers will follow through finally🙏
