Hey guys! We still don’t receive any answers from USCIS. WE sent RFE August 4, they texted that docs were received by officer August 17 and after that just silent.. we called them and the man said wait until October 17 and still nothing.. my fiancée tried to call them few times and was on the line for 2 hours before call was canceled.. we don’t know what to do??? I am sad..

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Call center is useless. Submit a case outside of normal processing request online. It should tell you what they say is the latest status of your case. If it's stuck for no good reason, contact a senator.

We have the same predicament. RFE received Aug.20. Called USCIS and was told that they will make a service request and wait 30 days before they can reply.. by then we are almost 365 days waiting for approval.

Damn....USCIS is such trash for treating US citizens like this.

We sent a letter yesterday to USCIS, where asked what’s going on. And we sent few requests already but all of them means just wait.

There are two tools that most of use here on VJ to help you. I've asked some time ago if you could finish your profile so I can see what country you are processing your visa through. Second, item that helps us to answer your questions or concerns is a complete timeline. Not having either or both causes some of us to just pass on your questions. I personally will not hunt down this information and will just skip your request.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

After 65 days of waiting after USCIS received our RFE on Oct.25th we got APPROVED 😀😀 finally. We made a follow up on the 62nd days and said it is still on processed. But my Fiance made a follow up called again and told we are approved. To God be all the glory. For those who are still waiting for their approval keep praying and I hope you get your approval soon. Be moving on the next topic forum here regarding NVC#
