Okay sorry guys, unable to delete previous post about my 2nd Inquiry Response. Here it is again.  I wanted to add that I found it interesting the last sentence stated in that email response.

This is why it is said with caution that u contact a senator or congressmen.

Ur case was some where along the lines of the process. Due to u inquiring on it. It has been pulled back for further checks.

Habe seen this happen to others and it delayed the process months. Hopefully this is not ur case but, be prepared to wait even longer now..

sorry for for the bad news but, it's reality...

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

I am not quite sure how accurate that assumption is that saying I basically screwed myself over 10x more now. However it is shown that people who did place a 2nd inquiry were shortly aproved after. I think the fact they started to change their feedback case inquiry responses is throwing people off now. I did reach my congress/senator and until

now no response back. Dec13th here the moment it reached late July I had every right to put in my case inquiry because I was long over due. I was actually more than patient and waited 60days. Nothng after that so I went ahead and did another + contacted my reps. Sorry but unless someone was in our shoes(294days) and counting they'd feel our pain moreso unlike those others who were approved and blessed much much more sooner that that. All the best to those still waiting🙏

I can't agree with u more. U been waiting a lot long then the majority of people. And tbh if I was in ur shoes I would have been doing everything in my power to get answers also.

Im just telling u what I have seen. I want to say it was a nov 2017 filer who had same thing happen.

I don't quite agree with you.  I was told by the USCIS rep when I called when my case initially was outside the normal processing time that if after the first inquiring made passes I should make another one, Mine first passed the 45 days  I was given so I had to make another one which is what am waiting for 45 days to elapse October 30th.

I think I recall what he is talking about. The case was at NVC and someone contacted a senator to make an inquiry, so USCIS recalled the application for some odd reason and they lost time because of how long it takes to transfer things between the agencies. Hopefully something dumb like that doesn't occur.

Though he shouldn't tell people waiting 300+ days that they screwed themselves based on rare occurrences when USCIS is already royally screwing up our properly filed applications.

Right now I wish I got a damn RFE, would have been faster than this nonsense security check lol

I called at day 26 of rfe and was informed I was approved the previous day. If u haven't called in a few days give it a try.

Tank you, i will tell my f again to call, he called yesterday and talk to. Tier 2 and told him that still no updated info, just wondering because on our actual form 129 he marked that portion and when they send an rfe to us they told that we omit to answer that yes or no..

I swear..(own thinking here) they have to send out so many rfe per month. Seems a lot get them for things that r answered correctly. While other miss things and skate on by.

no rhyme or reason. Stop trying to figure them out. Cus it's nerve racking attempting to do so 😂🤣😂🤣😂

Is that what your Senator replied back telling you that they were still conducting background checks on your case. If so, how long after signing release did they respond back to you on your case with answers?

I didn't receive a reply yet from my senator. Going to infopass appointment tomorrow morning. Going to check up on senator on Friday.

So far I contacted USCIS 3 times.

After 7 months

#1 - Case is pending adjudication.

2 months later

#2 Security Check

#3 Security Check
