Hahahahha.... yeah u were right.. shhhhh don't tell everyone..

beleive i I had seen people living on east coast stating they received there's with in 3 days from California.

I have no no idea what it's about. When I called Hester and was shocked to even hear we were getting a rfe. It had not been mailed yet so they could not inform me of what the request was.

Sooooooo......

ill sit back and wait for it with my fiancé as she will be here tomorrow for 12 days. Just hope they don't need anything from her as it will be 4000 miles away..

Going to be an awesome week for yah. Quality time with your Fiancée and a bonfire..

How I wish we could do visit each other too😢. I was notified last Aug. 24. So i am still wondering why we haven’t gotten it yet.

Your rfe mail will be most likely mailed to you after 10-15days. Have fun, relax and enjoy my friend. Few more days and we will be seeing each other on Sept. NVC thread..🙏

After initiating an inquiry with Tier 1 on the phone yesterday and also receiving false info from Tier 2 about processing times my fortunes have changed.

I received approval this morning. Yay!!!

Got an email of status change with a link to the old site that showed approval. New site still says received.

NOA1 - 1/17 old site ( 1/19 New site)

Just wanted to let you all know that even though I received my hard copy of the NOA2 dated August 20, my fiancé received an email and text message from USCIS this morning advising they are still reviewing our case. It seems very apparent USCIS is having major difficulties with the accuracy of their data in their computer system.

For those still waiting, I hope and pray things will move forward......and NOW not SOON......

Thank you! It’s been a long journey to this point. I hope the process goes quickly now but I’ve learned a lot of patience may still be required. At least I have had plenty of practice.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you still waiting.

update for today:

01/25/2018 – NOA1 new website

08/24/2018 – submitted online inquiry, one day out of normal processing times, received request ID number, "expect reply by Sept. 15th"

08/27/2018 – called USCIS and spoke to Tier 2, "still not very far out of processing time", "wait until Sept. 15th, when inquiry is complete"

08/27/2018 – submitted online request to USCIS Ombudsman online – received e-mail acknowledgement "will contact me if able to help"

08/28/2018 – contacted my US senator using Greenbaum's links – filled out online form – printed form and mailed it to address provided

08/29/2018 – contacted my US representative using Greenbaum's links – was simple online form, which was submitted online, no receipt

open possibilities:

-continue to call...I have not spoken to a Tier 1 yet

-schedule infopass meeting with immigration officer

I did receive this today, but I think it is the same as everyone else receives, and I don't give it much weight.

Wish everybody else the best of luck, our prayers are with you and we hope you'll have your approvals soon!

Crazy right!

Without a doubt crazy. The information we look for on our online accounts is far too important for there to be glitches that may or may not give us accurate information. People who are relying only on their online account information may or may not be receiving accurate data. It's a toss of the coin whether you are getting the right information or not. Thank God I have my NOA2 in hand or I'd still be doubting if I actually had an approval.

But remember after the NOA2 all those still waiting may play a little catch up in the process as I understand from information posted on visa journey that NVC only sends batches to the consulates. The next batch is apparently September 4 and it is probably unlikely mine will be received and sent in that batch. So mine most likely won't get sent until the September 18th batch. Which means many of you just a couple of weeks behind me will play catch up and we'll be sent to our embassies at the same time. Hope that makes sense and puts a little glimmer of sunshine into this excruciating wait.
