Thanks so much for the lovely words! It’s freaking hard an LDR, don’t need to tell you guys that but technology makes it easier to be creative! It gives us something to look forward to, breaks the monotony of just FaceTime everyday when we actually *do* something. And yeah, hopefully sets us up for good habits in appreciating meals together and time together as a whole once we’re together. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

So, what does the NOA2 actually detail? Does it have the date of the embassy interview or do you then have to wait for a separate letter? And if so, what’s the approx wait time for it?

 

Either which way, we now know there is a finite amount of time until we are together again.

this is just a brief outline but your file will now be on its way to the NVC (National Visa Centre) where you’ll get a case number then it’s forwarded to your embassy. I’m not sure what country you will be doing the interview in (I’m on my mobile and pressed for time) but it depends on the embassy whether you can jump ahead and book interview etc or if the embassy gives you an interview date etc. to be honest, I’m not too sure what the NOA2 details, I’m sure it’s just the confirmation of approval?

Just having another "missing Sydney" moment hahah. My Fiance and I LOVE pancakes on the rocks!!! I acutally may make him do this with me in the next few weeks so I can pretend i'm there haha. Goodluck, hoping you get some good news soon!!!

My latest update.  Yesterday evening received text and email RFE was mailed on August 28th.  Old and New site updated this morning with the same information.   Excitedly wait for the letter in the mail.

So i guess what they mean about “ordered” is that they gave it to the RFE issuing department to be generated and then transfer to another department again for mailing.  Just a wild guess..😝😝

 

Don’t worry it’s on the way now.. back to waiting game atleast not in VAIN.

Oh not yet. Still waiting for the mail. I was notified thru email last Saturday of the action taken of our case. The update was dated Aug. 24th. In what state are you from? Do you have any expected date of your rfe letter to arrive? Ours hopefully this week. 🤞 But since Jason is from Michigan, I wonder when we will get it. 😢

From what most people been saying. It seems to take only about 3 days once mailed to be received. 

I got a text and email today from old site stating my rfe was mailed. Hoping it be here by end of week or early next week.

It’s been more than 3days already and nothing yet in the informed delivery. Does it really vary from state to state?

Hahahahha.... yeah u were right.. shhhhh don't tell everyone..

 

beleive i I had seen people living on east coast stating they received there's with in 3 days from California. 

 

I have no no idea what it's about. When I called Hester and was shocked to even hear we were getting a rfe. It had not been mailed yet so they could not inform me of what the request was. 

 

Sooooooo......

 

ill sit back and wait for it with my fiancé as she will be here tomorrow for 12 days. Just hope they don't need anything from her as it will be 4000 miles away..
