I created an inquiry first over the phone then tried again a week later online because I didn't trust the phone rep with all the different answers I got calling them. When creating the inquiry online it said one already exists and it and showed the inquiry number and date created. I doubt it will cause any problems. 

 

Also don't be afraid to update your address if you move. This updated instantly in their system. Received an email the same day that it was successful updated. My previous address was my parents and I had just moved to a new place last month. Even though I still receive some mail at my parent's place I was a little concerned with some USCIS reps saying my case was pending background checks. I figured that I probably need to let them know my new address. Two weeks later I was approved.

 

This morning USPS Informed Delivery shows my NOA2 is arriving today 😊 after 225 days since they received the 129F Jan 12.

 

Despite receiving my NOA2 today both websites still report that they received my case lol

 

Confusing indeed. Just hang in there.  I know it's hard I was pulling my hair out last week!

They wanted evidence of us meeting in the last 2 years since filing. I sent a 2pound binder back😜

Got my RFE today, they need beneficiary’s letter of intent to marry within 90 days of arrival in the US. Also more evidence that we’ve met within 2 years of filing.

That's strange, did they not like what you had previously sent in? What did you send in the first time lol. We would do the same as you!

Same as I asked above, did you guys not send the intent to marry letter originally or are they just asking for it again.

Congratulations! Very happy to hear about your good news! Sent in our petition the same day as you. Hopefully our approval is just around the corner 😀

We sent the intent to marry but we sent in only one with both signatures on it stating my (petitioner) intent to marry her (beneficiary). We need for one her as well and I was expecting RFE on that. For having met in person 2 years prior, I sent in my boarding passes, pictures, entry and exit stamps on my passport and personal statement. I guess I’ll do same thing by add more this time. Did you add affidavit from friends?

We sent in only one letter also, where we both signed. But we wrote the intent to marry as a couple, so we used "we" "our" and stuff like that so hopefully we won't get an RFE for that.

 

And we just sent in the same stuff that you did but no affadavit. But if they ask for more then we'll include  boarding passes of her last time here and include affadvit from a few friends and organize the pictures better and send some that we left out and maybe even add a letter stating how we met and stuff.

I did and nothing was given.  I just called again today and tier 1 would not send me to tier 2 said I need to wait 30 days from August 8th no action has been taken yet to file inquiry.

I got an RFE today.  Ir was dated  08-17-18 but I have not been to the mail box all week.    They only need a  letter from my  finance stating she will marry me within 90 days of coming to the united states. I know I sent one the first time but I did not make a copy.  I will send another one.   Also I missed the criminal intent page which is easy I have  already checked no criminal record and signed it and dated it.  This makes me feel good at least I know my case is being worked on and I am almost finished with this step!  01-26-18 Noa1 and RFE 08-17-18.  

 

BTW  website still say case received.  No email or text.  only mail notification.

Ok guys RFE update:

Called tier 1 at 8am this morning when I got to work. Spoke with a young guy. He read his usual script of it’s going to take 60 days blah blah I said thank you can you transfer me to a tier 2 and he said for what. I said to speak about my case and he said for what. I said I have questions. He said WHAT questions. Really rudely and I said THANK YOU I WILL HANG UP AND CALL AGAIN. When I hung up I was like Oh Oh maybe he will flag my case so I hung up and called back really fast and got another young man. Explained my case all over again he said you’ve been approved and it’s been mailed out on the 21, approved the 20th. (Mind you I called the 21 and they read their usual script and said to wait 60 days) I said I figured that much since all the RFE was about was a letter of intent. And he said yes it says right here, your approved. 

 

So really it’s the luck of the draw. I just got home and have the approval in my hand. 

I called Aug 9 tier 1 said he saw something flagged TWO weeks prior but nothing sent. Next day RFE was issued and mailed. Received it the 13th. Over night es it the 14th. They received/processed  it the 16th and approved the 20th and mailed out the 21st and arrived today the 24th.
