We got the same email today.

I'm starting to think that there's something wrong with USCIS' system. We got an email on Monday (we get them every two weeks) saying they last took action on our case on June 18th and today we got one saying they last took action on July 18th. If that's the case why didn't they tell us that when they emailed us two days ago?

Im at day 211 today.

There has to be some glitches with their system as this is the first notification email my fiancé ever received and he has tried to troubleshoot the issue by selecting and deselecting notification updates on his account. So are you saying since this Monday, August 13, someone in USCIS went back in their time machine and took action on your case July 18 and then returned prior to your email this Wednesday? Simple explanation, I can't imagine why that confuses you LOL

Everyone, we are APPROVED!!!

NOA1 January 30th (old site)

            February 2nd (new site)

NOA2 August 15th, 2018

i called USCIS just now planning to speak to Tier   II, however I didn’t need to get that far, the first rep said “there has been an update to your petition, it has been approved today, we have sent your notice out today”

Thank the lord, my fiancée was really feeling stressed

Congratulations. Curious if the update also shows up on the website at the same time?

My fiancé woke up to a text this morning....first text EVER. Even though he had signed up for all the inactivity updates etc. we never received any texts or emails whatsoever. Since we are on Day 206 so much excitement until he read them. The "we are still reviewing your case....we last took action July 18" Can't say I didn't shed a few tears of disappointment.  This has been going on every since, and probably before I started this process that text message are few and far between.

My fiancé spoke with USCIS, what we thought was Tier 2, last week. She seemed very helpful and actually gave him the three dates on which the petition was reviewed and said no rfe's, everything looks good, background checks are fine, and it's on an adjudicator's desk for approval and you should get your approval by the 20th. Had I not have heard the conversation myself, I would not have believed the detail this officer was giving on the review dates etc. So both my fiancé and I felt ok, the approval is on its way. You know there is that possibility that she "went off script" and gave more information then she has been instructed to give to those who call just to be kind to you.

Fast forward to this morning and my fiancé calls USCIS after receiving the "we're still reviewing" and after waiting only 60 minutes for a Tier 2 call back we were informed there is no way of knowing when it will be approved and wait until September 1. Not sure why the officer my fiancé spoke with last week told us approval by the 20th......was she using the 7 month deadline and assumed we would have it by then? Very disappointing for sure... I'm sorry you are so disappointed and wish the systems was a little different but it is the system and it does get better but not at the pace that you or I would deem appropriate for the mess I witness you'll are in. But, sometimes we put the expectations so high that we only end up disappointing ourselves. Just my opinion in seeing the same atmosphere by most who enter these threads.

So we continue to wait.....Day 206 if we're counting from received date.....

Just wanted to share that I'm still one of those waiting as well.....wish I could say I'm just one of those that neglected to update their timeline with the NOA2 date, but no such luck.

Hoping all of us that feel like we are being left behind are pleasantly surprised by approvals this week! I heard that they are only doing approvals on Wednesday as this seems to be the pattern for the past 3 weeks. Also, once they are approved and case number assigned NVC is sending them in batches every other week. You might want to renew your Library card as the wait surely is going away any time soon. Some of the items that responded to are only my opinion. Please don't spam as I am not trying to be a killjoy. I wish that you all will have your approvals soon and then your case numbers.

201 Days ( Jan 26 old site) praying that we all get our approvals soon!!   I called today and  the same thing still processing within normal times.  I work for the state government I thought it would be a little faster because the state does background checks. so that should not be a problem.    I have faith that we all will get our approvals really soon.
