yea I hear it is more waiting after the NOA2 have you gotten your case number? yea I am much better now still cant imagine what it is about but in time I will know I have waited 6 months 2 weeks and 1 day so I guess I can wait a few more lol.... I checked online today and it still say case was received....

have you called?

We called three times total, the last call was on our day 215 and we filed an inquiry with L2. We haven't been calling since then, they told us that we would hear something by Aug 22nd, so we didn't want to overdo it and bug them too much 😔. Do you think we should just keep calling?

We also filed an inquire yesterday. They didnt want to communicate us with a Tier 2, I wish they could tell us a little something, if we are getting rfe, or they are doing backgrounds, or its because of my divorce, or kids or just something...It would give me a little hope. But this way it feels they havent even touch it. 😖

I suggest keep on bugging them. The officers also told us we should be hearing before Sept. 10. But still we insists by calling them everyday. And there you go after 68calls jason made in total, they called him back saying they sent out our rfe letter.

Girls, we can do this. I know how it feels floating out of nowhere. Patience is always the key in this process.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

I got a somewhat bad but mostly good news today. Jason spoke to tier 2 this afternoon and he said they sent out an RFE to him last Aug. 8, 2018(I am wondering when we can have that letter if they sent it out already). The tier 2 officer said he cant give us the details of what was the RFE all about. And that we should just wait for their letter for us to receive. But I suspect it’s the TOS of the dating site where Jason and I met. We weren’t able to include it because we dont know about IMBRA before. Nevertheless, i feel relieved hearing some update about our case.

@Greenbaum May I ask how we can know about our rfe by just asking for a fax of it? I have read you posted an info. before. Do you mind sharing it again to me? Thanks in advance.

@Lucy&Jason you got this!!!! We will get our RFE  fix it and God willing be in the NVC stage in no time!!! Hang in there my friend! I called yesterday to try and get my RFE faxed they refused to let me be transferred to tier 2 I called 3 times, and guess what all 3 agents stated my case is still in processing and each time I told them that wasn’t true and on my end it shows RFE sent August 10...of course they were dumbfounded...I will keep you posted when I hear something!!!

Call them whenever you have the chance. The uscis said they don’t really update their system often times.

Hi! How's the waiting time for calling USCIS?

Define what you mean by waiting time?
Your timeline shows you're an early February filer so hopefully you have your NOA2 in the coming weeks.

Get in the mindset of about 200-220 days to receive an NOA2. Anything earlier is simply a blessing. 😊
Good luck! You're almost there

Thanks! I meant for when you call, do you have to wait long before someone picks up?

Calling is another story
U are welcome to call at ANY time in the process. Just know that calling too early (which in my PERSONAL opinion is before day 200) might be a waste of time because someone is going to tell you "your case is being adjudicated/you are within normal processing times"

How long you wait depends on how busy the phone lines are. They are always busy FYI
If you want to get a Tier II person (someone that MIGHT know more than the operator that answers the phone), you MOST likely will have to wait for a call back from them. I've heard those can range from an hour to like an entire day.
