Ok guys here’s my RFE. Intent to marry. I had sent this original letter wet signed by both of us and the only thing I can think of that is wrong is I put my name - the petitioner - instead of his name the beneficiary. On the RFE it’s asking for HIS intent to marry me. Even though I feel the letter I sent with his signature and name was intent enough. I called a Tier 2 and am waiting on a call back.

Well if you wrote your name instead of the beneficiary’s they don’t see that as the beneficiary’s intent to marry.  Simple fix

My understanding of this is that you needed a separate letter from each individual? that's how we did it any way.

we sent both of those letters in one from me one from her stating the same thing on both letters that we intent to marry

This should help you have an idea. But basically you are waiting to get your case number from NVC and the documents will come to your fiancee for her to fill.

yes, then, I think you are correct in your assumption-- that name needed to be changed. These are considered formal legal documents right now so, a simple mistake of not changing the name is the type of stuff thats going to get the document sent back.

I was reading online from some other peoples posts that there needed to be one per person.- so yes two - but then the paperwork never said that. Anyways will send with his name first and hopefully that fixes the problem.
