We could be mincing words. If you send a document, and this is according to the information I just gave, USCIS deems the signature that is scanned to be as true as if it were a "wet signature".  This is one of those questions that people will say it's black and others will say it's gray. No one can agree and that is why I submit "official" documentation that outlines what is accepted. The choice is still yours but at least you have the information from the horses mouth.

Further, the I-134 is not a binding contract so there is no real need for a wet signature. Now when you do the I-864 for your AOS after marriage then yes, it requires a wet signature, but the two of you are going to be together when you execute that document so it is really a mute point.

Ok thanks for the clarification. Sorry to cause you more trouble I just wanted to make sure for the other person (not me) as I will be there with my fiance so I will have the original with me regardless.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Roughly how long does it take to get visa (9ja precisely) in hand after NOA2. I’m still waiting on NOA2 (January 10 old and 12th new site). Hopefully we get something coming week.

I would say a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks if you hit all the steps right. 2 weeks to get case number from NVC, and if case reaches embassy in Lagos with days, you can do a walk in medical exam without making an appointment, one of the two doctors in Lagos takes walk in appointments. it takes 7 to 10 days to get the slipped results for the medical exam. Once the case reaches Lagos, you can schedule your interview date, which should be two weeks out from the date you will be completing your medical exam. after your interview, if you are approved, you will be told on the spot and your visa should be ready in 3 to 5 days after the interview at the DHL office.

My case is officially out of processing timeline. Jan 10th on old and 12th on new site. No update no RFE nothing. It’s so frustrating and I’m trying not to let it get to me. I’ll be submitting a case enquiry online and also call uscis today. Anyone in the same situation?

We are, as you remember we have exact same days, we made an enquiry too, let’s wait for their answer

Hi there I am December filler and I just was wondering I just got out of the phone with USCIS about our case (we sent our RFE on the august 3rd) the tier 2 said our case is put on hold by supervisor. Does anyone knows what s that mean?

Thank You

The case is on hold until they review the information submitted with the rfe. Uscis has 60 days from the day in which they receive your request for evidence to make a decision. If you mailed it aug 3 it means it was probably received on their end early last week. Most rfe for k1 take less than. 30 days. You should hear a decision either this week or next week.

I hope so. I am exhausted by this process. It was just weird that why exactly it is on hold by supervisor. That makes me think is more complex. Thank You for the answer.

nothing is complex, yet everything is complex.

Rule #2 about this process- don't try to think for USCIS. It will only cause u headache.

Rule #1 - Don't make any plans until VOH 😊
Be grateful for an RFE- it means your case is not stuck in a background check somewhere or collecting dust on someone's desk.

Since u have replied to an RFE, u have a wait of a maximum 2 months.
Stay clam, prepare for the rest of the process because there's still much to do. Don't be overly focused on NOA2 and forget there are other things to get done.

U are almost to the end!
