Let's look at the time line because your last reply is a little snarky.

There were a LOT of angry people between May - October 2017 that were less than impressed with USCIS and their phone call etiquette.

I feel for them, though. They can't tell you anything more than the website tells them. That much is fact. They're not withholding information, they just don't have access to it.

It's like a glorified call center. You think that those people are the ones stamping your paperwork, but they're just making sure the phones get answered and that if someone DOES have an emergency, they get to the right person.

She is opining the same message that I stated in other of my posts.

Your spot on.

So I agreed with her and paid a positive comment that she was right.

Uscis receives 50k phone calls a day. It’s a huge call center operation

Then you jump in with your statement, which made no sense. I even thought that maybe you didn't get to finish your statement because there is no period if you meant that to be a statement then a period (punctuation) would of gave me a clue to your meaning.

And your point is?

Hence I asked this question.  I reply and help many people. I'd say that I am in 8 different threads and sometimes my replies are short and to the point. I am sometimes on VJ till after midnight helping people to achieve their goals. So if your offended then I am sorry for you and I think maybe you should put your big girl/boy pants on.

What’s it to you? It was a statement and i find it astouding that they receive that many inbound phone calls everyday.

Then you reply with a snarky comment. "What's it to you". If you quote/message me then I believe I have every right to ask you to explain your statement. But you chose to take the low road and state your snarky reply. I wish nothing but the best in your quest for happiness. Good luck.

210 days now since my receipt date so I called and was told that only 5 months have passed despite me asking Alexa "How many months since January 12th?" And Alexa answering loud enough for the CSR to hear "7 months since January 12th"

She insisted that only 5 months have passed and that I need to wait two more before calling again.

You should be able to check for updates on their new site here:  https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

You may need to create a new account if you don't have one yet and add your case to see the status.

I want to point out that @greenbaum is an incredible asset and that also, as people who have been trying to help, we see a LOT of the same questions. It does get daunting sometimes, and it's easy to feel frustrated when you're in a high stress situation like waiting for your NOA 2. :)
