Congratulations still. Praying it’s just an easy one.🙏

Ok guys. Called to inquire about the RFE tier 1 was very nice. I asked him to transfer me to Tier 2. He did. Can’t say the officer was very nice at all BUT she did state it said they needed more evidence of intent to marry. I sent a letter signed by my fiancé and I stating the intent to marry within 90 days. What more do they want? Any suggestions? 😕

Yeah, I really would like to know what is up with that. If they could at least give us some explanation of the processing system...🤔 I don't understand why skip people who can already inquire, would't it be easier to just process them first and no one would bother them with inquiries?? But I guess the UCSIS is actually buying them with time as we all get the automatic "we will get back to you in 45 days" response 😥

RE: I-129F Case

USCIS records confirm that the referenced case is pending background check clearance. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in a timely manner while also ensuring public safety and national security. A small percentage of applications and petitions have unresolved background check issues that temporarily delay adjudication. Although USCIS makes every effort to resolve such cases promptly, USCIS is unable to speculate when the background check will be completed.

If a background check reveals an issue that may impact an applicant’s eligibility for the requested immigration benefit, further inquiry is needed. The inquiry may include an additional interview and/or contact with another agency for updates or more comprehensive information. Upon gathering and assessing all available information, USCIS will adjudicate the application as quickly as possible.

USCIS realizes that the constituent may be frustrated by the progress of their case. However, the agency must balance individual inconvenience against broader issues of public safety and national security.

Wait for the RFE arrives before you second guess what's in the RFE. It's been my experience that it is better to wait and see what the "official" word from USCIS is and what it wants in order to satisfy the RFE. No one can say for sure what they are looking with the small nugget of information that you have provided.

Let's wait till you receive a copy of the RFE, and then we can opine as to what it is all about. You're almost there. 99% of the cases that USCIS issues a RFE in the end get approved. This is just a hiccup in your processing.

So we are probably in the same boat then. I've been expecting a RFE. Do you know what yours might be for?

Yes, we mailed the wrong birth cert. Issued from the hospital but not from the State.

Hey guys,

we are at day 200 today. My fiance called USCIS yesterday since we were both losing our patience. The guy was nice he told us that there’s nothing missing, all looks good, they don’t need anything else from us, it just takes time...theres a lot of people waiting and they are behind. they said if you don’t get anything in 2 weeks call back. He also said that we should be notified via mail by 9th september latest. It calmed me a little that its at least progressing... hope it helps some of you who are still worried. It’s gonna be over soon ❤️

We have no choice but to conform to what they are needed. Intent to marry is just an easy one to submit to. And won’t take time for them to approve your case as soon as you submitted their needed requirement/s. 😊😊😊

We got approved!!!

NOA1 new website - January 29th

NOA2 - August 9th

I checked my email this morning first and I had one from USCIS that said 'we have taken action on your account, please log in to check' which sounded strange, and worried me a bit. But when I logged in to the new website, it said we were approved!!! We are so happy we can barely focus at work haha.

And yes, we already updated our timeline. 😉

congrats!
