The first to 3rd week of January were almost left behind. Most approvals we see were from last week of January. So where did our approvals go? 🤷‍♀️

Guess we are the lucky ones.

Goodmorning guys. Got an email and text at 6am. After yesterday phone call to USCIS I got an RFE. 😕 let’s see what it is. I’m going to call and ask to tier 2 today.

Congratulations still. Praying it’s just an easy one.🙏

Yeah, I really would like to know what is up with that. If they could at least give us some explanation of the processing system...🤔 I don't understand why skip people who can already inquire, would't it be easier to just process them first and no one would bother them with inquiries?? But I guess the UCSIS is actually buying them with time as we all get the automatic "we will get back to you in 45 days" response 😥

Some cases need further background checks then other. Is can be do to (from what I have read) common surnames, criminal record, previous marriages along with other things.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

So thanks to everyones advice I was able to reach a tier 2.

Heres what they told me:

I would most likely not being getting a RFE at this late in the game (218 days)

My case has no red flags

Theres no particular reason why my case is taking longer such as background checks its just simply every worker works at different speeds and every case is not worked in an exact order

7 months is just an estimate and cases can and will take longer

I would likely get an answer in 2 weeks

All of the above information was the opinion of the Tier2 officer and does not confirm anything but the RFE thing was comforting.

Thank you for sharing this!

I just received an email saying they have no updates at this time but the case was last touched on the 27th of July.  (NOA1 is 10th of January -- new site) so at least I know that nothing is lost and that it's being looked at. That's a tiny victory, I suppose. The paint continues to dry.

I am the same. My NOA is Jan 10 (new)  too. I phoned a week ago. The Tier 1 person said I will receive REF and the case was finished reviewing on July 27.

It has been more than 10 days, still no notice on the USCIS. Its very frustrating.

Yes. Even I phoned yesterday, talked to the tier 2 person. there is no update. And she said that she could fax me the RFE only when the RFE is mailed and the status is updated online.

The only thing I can do is waiting.

So we are probably in the same boat then. I've been expecting a RFE. Do you know what yours might be for?

When I assembled our package it was maybe 30-35 pages max. Never overloaded at any level; I-129f, AOS or ROC. If I couldn't prove to the adjudicator that our relationship was genuine then I didn't deserve the reward from which I was applying for.

I'm telling you this is not hard, but you set high expectations and when you fail you're pi$$ed. USCIS didn't promise that it would be completed with the exception in 5 months. Now it's busy and it's running 1-2 months beyond and you're up in arms. USCIS doesn't make your life hard you do it to yourself.

Here is what you do. You file your case then follow the time lines and then when you're close, check CEAC once a day. Get your life back under control. Just some advice from someone who has walked this road before you.

I hope for my sake you get your approvals soon. 😁

Just 8 or more hours ago I posted this under tab 29 and I can only assumed you just read only the page that is current and where you post your opines. If you read my post and I think you can adjust your expectations to reality and your life will be better for it. Just my opinion.
