Confessions of a k1 petitioner:  i can’t sleep past 6am any longer, I wake up to check the site for any updates, then can’t go back to sleep.  😏🙄

I do the same exact thing every morning! And slam my cell on my nightstand when it hasn’t changed 😕

Honestly, we probably had maybe 15? Maybe 10? Maybe too little 😕🙂

Mine is 52 including form g-28 and the I-129F. If you take that stuff our petition is 32 pages, and most of those are pictures since the lawyer only put one picture per page.

i had alot of pages including 60 pages of chatting history, receipts for hotels, travel, engagement ring, 20 pictures of us together. i figured there was no such thing as too much. my binder was big and i organized it using the paper clips and cover pages plus tabs on the side. wanting to leave no stones unturned. many have sent way less and got approved too.

That's a lot of chatting history lol  we didn't put any in out petition. Just pictures, boarding passes, itineraries and DS-2019 from when I was there on a J-1. I'm sure that if my fiancee and I had organized it that we would have had more pages AND that we also would have been organized since shes a neat freak AND would probably have been approved some two weeks ago. Big regret not doing it ourselves. Too late now, unfortunately. I just hope that what we sent will be enough.

So thanks to everyones advice I was able to reach a tier 2.

Heres what they told me:

I would most likely not being getting a RFE at this late in the game (218 days)

My case has no red flags

Theres no particular reason why my case is taking longer such as background checks its just simply every worker works at different speeds and every case is not worked in an exact order

7 months is just an estimate and cases can and will take longer

I would likely get an answer in 2 weeks

All of the above information was the opinion of the Tier2 officer and does not confirm anything but the RFE thing was comforting.

I got basically the same info today and I am on day 204. We are close!

Guys, just outta curiosity, how many pages did your petitions have? Mine only has 52 and I see some people's petitions looking like a encyclopedia lol

If they have more pages that means they have plenty of proofs that they love is real so kinda easier

Could be, but it could be stuff that the adjudicator is not even gonna look at. Ive been with my fiancee for 5 years now. Would we sent 5 years worth of emails, chats, phone logs and pictures? Of course not, thats just overkill lol. But to each there own
And if a couple wanted to pretend that their love is real in order to fraud the process for immigration benefits,  than im sure that in just 6 months they could come up with over hundreds of pages of ''evidence''. And USCIS knows this too. Thats why there's an interview for the k-1 and then another interview for the AOS and then another interview for lifting conditions.

Yes totally get your point but if you have a relationship for 5 years you could put some pictures of each year so they will know is truth and long for example; I took screenshots some of my posts on Facebook showing dates and places from different years. I have been 3 years with my fiance so you could tell which one is fake or no. I think is about the quality of how the relationship has been since you met each other and no quantity, but let's be positive and trust in our files 😀😍

I have been reading the last few pages and what popped into my head was the agents who answer these calls are probably saying after they take a call "the weekend can't get here fast enough, I just want to be done with these _______. The same ones call 2, 3, and six times a day." Then the sound of a rough huff.

😁
