that agent gave you the standard line, call again, maybe you will get someone better and more willing to help.

I'll just wait and call again tomorrow if I am still am not approved.  I don't want them to keep logging how many times I call if they do keep record.  The woman on the phone did ask have I called before...

Yeah I hope so.  I just feel like I'm getting left behind seeing all these approvals on the say day as mine or later.  I just want some good news to tell my fiancee'.  I hate having to tell her everyday we have yet to be approved and to see the disappointment on her face.  I guess all we can do is continue to pray and hope for the best.

I’m right there with you...  30 January

Since you said you called I can safely assume that you're the petitioner and that your fiance (Beneficiary) is the one who passed security checks 2 weeks ago?

I'm just asking bc then we know for sure that background checks are done on both petitioner and beneficiary? Because it had been said here on VJ that background checks are done only in the petitioner and it has also been said that it's also done on the beneficiary lol.

Yes, I am the petitioner and the security check was done for my fiance.

Me too.. I’m jan 25 and they asked me the same thing...if I ever called with this issue before and funny how some do not even verify the account and others go thru the entire verification process.

Day 197..... God please let us all be approved soon🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Hi everyone! My NOA 1 Date is 01/22 old site and 01/25 new site. I took a lot of advice from this forum and called USCIS today. They told me the application is getting an RFE and I should receive the notice in the mail in about 10 days. There are no updates to the website still. It's been 199 days and I'm absolutely devastated. I know there are a lot of people who have been waiting even longer..... I was wondering if anyone knows how much longer applications that get an RFE take on average? Thanks so much! Best of luck to you all!

If you don't mind me asking. was it question number 5 on part 1?

No, it was part 3 question 4. Something about if he’s ever been arrested before. He hasn’t so I assume it was pretty quick for them to log and approve once they received it back.

Guys, just outta curiosity, how many pages did your petitions have? Mine only has 52 and I see some people's petitions looking like a encyclopedia lol

Honestly, we probably had maybe 15? Maybe 10? Maybe too little 😕🙂

i had alot of pages including 60 pages of chatting history, receipts for hotels, travel, engagement ring, 20 pictures of us together. i figured there was no such thing as too much. my binder was big and i organized it using the paper clips and cover pages plus tabs on the side. wanting to leave no stones unturned. many have sent way less and got approved too.

Once uscis receives the information back from you it takes a max of 60 days. However, most hear back much sooner than that. I have seen as few as 3 or 4 days but most are under 30 days.

My fiance is calling tomorrow again. We hit 210 days. I feel they are starting with february and the ones we havent receive anything is still going to be slower. My fisnce doesnt like to call, he says will have the same answer, that we are in normal processing time, I told him to be a little more persistant and talk to a tier 2, Like everyone said I just wish they could tell you a little more info, like if its coming soon or getting rfe or something. I dont want to be waiting much longer, Indont check the website anymore. For all of us waiting lets keep praying and for the ones who got approved congratulations!!!

We will figure this out. I’m giving them tomorrow and the weekend and calling back Monday to try and ask if my situation has a definite RFE or what. He sounded unsure. You aren’t alone. I’m here too 💙
