@Bladeness any news?

@LuFlolady up to day 9. But who's counting? lol. But 8 more days and he's here! I've just finished off booking everything we're doing, keeping all records of tickets and keeping a mental note of what proper evidence we can submit for my interview haha. Still a few days left to receive your case number! Gotta be soon!!! Thanks so much for touching base. ❤️ I'll be heading to the city on Tuesday to meet a couple of other VJer's who have their interviews then! Super exciting!

Nothing at all. Just received the same 2 week email saying they’re still reviewing my case. Nobody has looked at it since my inquiry in September. 😞

How did you know about your approval? Because we got the same RFE date but I took longer to respond to it and they took forever to adjudicate it lol

It just feels weird after my fiance going back to the US. Being away from each other is killing us, but the good bye is the hardest. I'm glad this will be our last good bye because the next time he's here it will be for my interview and we're traveling back to the US together. He's already looking at the tickets. I really hope my POE will be mid december so we can celebrate Christmas and new year together. We vowed to each other never again we will be separated like this. It hurts us a lot!

And just an update for my fellow posters .yesterday i did my visa application and was given an interview date of November 9th but there is just 1 problem and that is there is only 1 hospital used by the U.S. embassy here in jamaica to conduct medical examination and after applying they replied that the nearest available date is November 13. Which would come after my interview. 😱😱 they however indicated that i must proceed to the interview and then submit the medical on completion. I don't know if anyone in the past have encountered such situations maybe greenbaum have seen it. ??

Yes I have seen this many times. It's ok if you do your interview first but you will not have a final adjudication till such time as the Embassy receives your medical record. You'll receive what is called a 221(g) (named after a DOT regulation). It's not going to affect the approval one way or another. Go to your interview and then complete your medical. Doing one before the other will not slow you down because it could have been reversed but still the same time.

BTW if you want to get someone's attention the starting with the "@" sign and then followed by the nick will generated a message to the individual that this person was summoned. So for me it would be @Greenbaum and it turns blue as you see the example. I for one look at most entries so I was able to see my name but others may not. Just saying.
