Welp. Earlier today I went to my Congressman’s office. I sat down and had a discussion with the staff member in charge of the immigration issues section and filled out some forms. She was a very kind and helpful woman. She gave me her business card and told me to contact her if I need to. She told me she would send it off as soon as I left and hopefully it’ll help.

I know its a hit or miss when it comes to this, but I didn’t want to just file another inquiry again just to get the same email.. I’m praying SO hard that this brings light to our case. We don’t even have an officer assigned to our case yet.

Praying right alongside with you!

@Lucy&Jason where are u girl? U have been quiet? Lol have u gotten your case number? @Snuffles are you ready for your MAN to arrive? Have they received the response to your RFE?

I am SO ready for my man to arrive! Two weeks exactly to go!!!!!!! And yes! We got the update (on old website though, not new lol) that they received it. So now the wait begins again but my man and I decided we wouldn’t stress or think about this but enjoy the time we have together- focus on him meeting my family and friends and cherishing our time together :) how are you?

Having same process I did. Don't expect either site to update when u get approved. Both mine never have nearly a month later. New says received feb 7th old says rfe received sept 5th. We got nvc number on Tuesday.

With that said, uscis sites are dead to me and mean absolutely nothing anymore...😂😂😂

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do OLD SITE

https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ NEW SITE

https://www.house.gov/representatives US Congressmen

https://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm US Senators

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

I'm thinking my case will be transferred on October 31 and will reach to my embassy on November 14. They'll send packet 3 on November 16 and I can book my interview on the same day. My embassy allow me to book medical check up once I get the number which we did last week. I just took my fiance to the airport after his visit for 10 days. We spent time together and prepared our documents required for the interview.  So we're pretty set. We might get the NOA2 longer than normal time but so far the journey is pretty fast. Got my fiance brought another batch of my stuff too to the US. I'm so excited!!
