Update:

noa-1 25 jan

website still says received, no updates or emails or anything

we filed a service request 21 August, received an answer on 30th saying we are currently being adjudicated and we should receive a notice within 45 days. It says it can be an approval, rfe, intent to denial or denial.

Did anyone receive an email like this?

Thanks!

It's a standard response email. Nothing to worry about. All u can do is wait.. still......

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

I’m thinking of a background check that’s causing a delay on your paper..

yeah, I don’t understand why! 😡When we called before filing the inquiry they said they worked on our case as recent as July...then we got this email. None of us has any records, previous marriages, children.. nothing. We met in person the first time on vacation and we are flying to see each other every 5-6 weeks... I’ve just finished my masters and I’m working for GE😩😅.. seriously what else do they want????! Sorry they are on my last nerve

Can be a number of things. Common surname, which would cause for more in depth back ground checks. All u can do is wait and not stress over it. Stressing won't make them work faster or make ur approval magically appear. Try to stay busy and keep ur mind off it. Best thing u can do..

good luck

I feel the same. The only reason we got an RFE was because I forgot to check the box that said my race. It was super irritating, but I refuse to believe that that would hold up the process for the full 60 day response time. I feel like we are close!

I pray it doesn't take them 60 days to approve our responses to me we should be approved the next day bcuz they have already looked at our app before they sent the RFE.....these folks I tell ya.....

Trying to find a hole in our papers to double kill us..  :girlwerewolf2xn:They should’ve atleast a little consideration to every applicant..

Yes, we contacted the senators office, they said they will get back to us as soon as they get an answer. It was arond 21-22 August, when we filed the service request, too. Never heard from them again but we got the Uscis email on 30th August. So maybe it’s not a coincidence 😅 I hope this currently being adjudicated and will get an answer within 45 days isn’t just a bs but actually means we get something
