There is double standards in both directions, one side just tends to resonate with people based on their political side. Regardless of ones beliefs most sane people agree the violence is out of hand and counter-productive. What needs to occur is developing a consensus rather than fostering contention. There is common ground, the important thing is to find it rather then look for areas of contention.
