About I-864A form

I am the petitioner. Now I need to fill it the form I-864 for affidavit of support. But my income is not good enough to sponsor for my parent’s file. So I have decided to fill out I-864A which is about joint sponsor. My cousin brother wants to be as a joint sponsor with me. But I have concerned that my cousin brother is not staying with me and also he is not as household member. So we don’t have any proof of relationship. So what form should I fill out for joint sponsor? If I-864A, then how can I proof my relationship with him? Because he is not my household member.

he doesn't qualify for the i864A, he can file the i864 but you can't combine income. if he is married he can combine income with his wife

 

in that case he would file the i864 and his wife the i864A

 

if he's single then he will use the i864

 

if you filed for both parents he would need to file 2 i864 if he has enough income. or he may be able to be a joint sponsor for one of your parents since each petition is separate and you can find another joint sponsor for your other parent

Yes.

Also, your cousin's brother will be the joint sponsor and will need to provide his documentation that shows he meets the required income regardless of what you make.  He does not need to live with you.

Exactly as stated above (assuming the joint sponsor is a USC or LPR living in the US).

This means that i have to be fill out i-864 form. Then my cousin brother has to be fill out i-864 form and his wife has to be fill out i-864A form. Is it right sir?

the petitioner always files the i864 and is the primary sponsor for bringing someone

 

you will fill out the i1864 as the sponsor, he will file an i864 as your joint sponsor and his wife the i864A as his household member

My cousin brother did joint file with his wife last year but his wife had no job last year and she had not have w-2 form. So she still needs to fill out I-864A form?

It's not strictly required, but it is typically requested since it is marital income/assets being used. I suggest doing it to avoid a checklist or 221g.
