Online Form - Residency, School/Work, and Travel History 3 vs 5 yrs

I noticed when filling out the online form that for the categories of Residency, School/Work, and Travel outside US history they are asking for everything over the past 5 years. But what if you have been living/working in the US for the past 3 years based on marriage? Should you only list the employers and places lived within the last 3 years even though it says 5 yrs on the page?

Yeah, they only care about the stuff since you’ve been a perm res
