  Hi everyone.

Currently filing out the I-864A for my Dad and his second-wife. They are both using their incomes to sponsor my wife for the Green Card. They filed their taxes jointly and I am wondering if they must each have their own form or if one is enough? There is only one line to put a name on on I-864A, so I'm wondering what to do?

Also, since they filed jointly, do I separate their incomes when listing what their monthly income is per month? Example: If their combined income is $6000 per month ($4K from my dad / $2k from his wife), do I put the $6000 for both of them or do I separate them by each form?

Thanks for the help. Our interview is on the 8th and we're excited to conclude this process for a bit.

Cheers,

Jesse

hi

each one files their own form, your dad files another i864 as your joint sponsor, and his wife files the i864A as his household member
