I 130 "Date employment began"

I am filling out the I 130 for my spouse, and it has  a section asking for "Beneficiary's employment information" where I am supposed to put my wife's current employment information. My wife is currently unemployed and has been since March 2017, so I put UNEMPLOYED under name of employer as the form instructs.  This section  then asks  for "date employment began" - should I put the date she has been unemployed since (March 2017) in that field?

Why would you put the date she became UNEMPLOYED in the box asking for the DATE EMPLOYMENT BEGAN?  NO.

That's exactly what we did with our petition. No problems.

EDIT TO PREVIOUS POST:

My apologies. We did this on the I-130A, where the terminology is "Date From" and "Date To". On the I-130, it only asks for present employment status, and the terminology is "Date employment began". Ours was a bit different because my wife's period of unemployment was not current, but in the past (but recent enough it needed to be listed).

Thanks @David & Zoila for pointing that out.

The forms says to type "unemployed" in item 51a.  There is no need to include dates...
