Hi all,

So, NVC received our approved K1 app on July 19, 2018. It's been three weeks and I called the NVC call center thrice already and was informed that our app is still with them and haven't been sent to Manila. Generally, how long does it take for NVC to send the papers to Manila embassy? Manila filers please :-)

You wont be needing the papers from nvc to be sent to manila. USEM now is electronic. Once you get you MCN you can already process your needed requirements all the way to interview.

Or you mean when the status will be “Ready” in CEAC? It could take 2-3weeks. But as far as i know USEM is one of the fastest US embassies to process so it may not be taking that long.

Thank you for replying. Yeah, we just want to make sure that our app is on Manila system already before my fiance starts working on the requirements.
