Today I checked our NOA2 dated Feb. 20 and it says "If you have not received any correspondence from the NVC within 30 days, you may contact the NVC by email at NVCINQUIRY.state.gov.... etc." So I sent an email and thought I would try to call as well since we have not heard anything (either by email or letter) and it has been almost 6 weeks since NOA2.  After being on hold for almost an hour at NVC, I got a very nice person and she checked our NOA2 receipt number and told me our file was received at NVCMarch 7, and to expect up to 8 weeks to get a case number, and that it will come via email to both petitioner and beneficiary.  So the case number should come by early May--exciting!  We are ready with all our documents for the NVC stage, just waiting for the case number now.  In the meantime we are meeting in London and Paris for ten days for Easter, in April.  Good luck with the waiting everyone!

Received by regular mail and the new USCIS website was updated about 4 days after the notice date.

A big congratulations to both of you and have fun in London and Paris! :D

Did you have to ask for a tier 2 supervisor when you called NVC or did you get lucky with the first rep?

The first person I spoke with was very helpful and told me our file arrived at NVC March 7 and that we should receive the NVC case number by about May 2, that's only a month from today!

However I am at the Nebraska Service Center and wondering if anyone has had an update with their process? My first date is July 20, 2018.

As of today..Nebraska has extended the processing time from 9.5months to 12mos and rolled back the pd date from June 20th to April 15th or 16th...😭

Are you serious. This is crazy.. why are they doing this??

I wish I knew..specifically but my general take is USICS is now required to scrutinized every application in efforts to slow down immigration..along with reallocating resources to the border situation and ICE instead of hiring more folks to reviews these petitions...Im now looking at my husband being here barely by xmas time instead of sept....the table below is for Nebraska...my PD is 7/26😪

I’m a college student and I just did two semesters online here in his country and I cannot wait any longer. I was hoping to be home with him by May or July not Christmas...
