Ok I'm really concerned now. Nvc has had my case for 8 weeks. I call every week and still no case number. Today they said my case is in Administrative Processing and there is no time frame and no information they can give me!!! HELP!!!!

Not to alarm you but you are indeed correct this is not normal to get AP during the NVC stage...have you tried talking to higher tierd rep or supervisor to explain why in AP?

This exact thing happened to me 2 weeks after my case arrived at NVC, before uploads and before a case number was even assigned. Freaked me out too. I posted here and everyone said it was normal. Unfortunately that doesn’t make us feel better. I called back 2 days later... no more Administrative Processing. I received my case number at 6 weeks. Might I suggest that you call back and see if it still shows AP?

"Hi July Filers,

Quick update. My husband and I are still waiting for our NOA2 with a receipt date of July 27. 2018. We recently signed up for myUSCIS and saw no real updates on there, just that they had received our case and were processing it. However today we got an email from USCIS.... "We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time. We will notify you when your case status changes. We last took action on your case on March 12, 2019."

Has anyone else received an email like this? What does this "last took action" mean? Any info would be appreciated!

It looks like USCIS staff are reviewing your file, that is good news!  Probably doing background checks right now and that can take some time, depending on the countries involved.  Be patient, you should get a notice on the outcome of the review soon.  Hang in there...

Anyone from nebraska service centre got accepted?

According to Igor's list of VJ members, only 2 out of 37 July 2018 I-130s have been approved so far at NSC, it looks like they are still working on May and June filers.  So your time is coming very soon!!  Maybe April or May.

Hey all - hows everyone getting on?
