Who's planning on accompanying your spouse to their visa interview?

I am, my spouse is also in Romania like yours. However the difference is I have also been living here the last 3 years. I'm just waiting on my NOA2 for now.

I have been following your timeline as it's very similar to mine. What's the latest update, did you get any type of notification from NVC yet?

Oh wow!!! Where in romania are you? I just got back on Tuesday! No notice from NVC but I'm planning on calling today to see if I can get my case number. Our  I-130 was approved 12/21 & it says they sent to NVC on Jan 10th so I'm hoping to get this moving! Wishing you the BEST of luck 💖

Hopefully your NVC part moves by fast and is over in less than 6 months. That's what i'm hoping for me as well, once I get my NOA2 that is! I reallllly wana return back to the US with my spouse. I'm sure you can't wait to have yours there too!

FINALLY got through to NVC after a couple of days of being on hold for over an hour... NOA2 was Dec. 21st, sent to NVC on Jan. 10th, and NVC says they just received it today and I have to allow up to 8 weeks for them to put it in their system and give a case number!!! Craziness...

do government shutdown have impact on processing time ? i got Nebraska Service Centre with NOA 1 was on July 5th.  No update. last week my husband called them, they said july fillers is on the process not waiting till get process. So it is a good news for july fillers (NSC) because They start working on our batch.
