Hi! I really need some help to clear my doubt! My husband and I are waiting for the appointment for his CR1 visa! We got it in CD Juarez Mexico but we still haven't get a date and it's been 3 months since the NVC put us on a waiting list. I know that there's a queue list to check the estimate of time for an interview in the different types of visas but CR1 isn't there! If someone could just tell how long does it take to get an appointment for CD Juarez

Thank you

Theres a lengthy thread on this very topic just beneath yours,

The consensus seems to be around 3-4 months to get notified of the interview, which is around 2 months after receiving the notification.

I received a Case Complete on June 29th and I still don't have an appointment in Juarez.  I was already expecting it to take a while though. I anticipate receiving an appointment letter in October sometime with an interview date in either November, December or or worse January 2019.

I am actually thinking about if they give me an appointment date for January 2019 that I might try to get it rescheduled for February or March so my spouse could wait until our second wedding anniversary July 14th,2019 to cross the border and get an IR1 instead of a CR1.  I read somewhere on here that once you get a letter that you can reschedule on the consulate website correct?

I think it is possible to reschedule but you have to call directly to NVC

Yea, pretty sure those are all handled by the same units so the timelines should be similar.

Our case complete at NVC at the beginning of May.  It has been the 90 day wait and no interview letter/appointment yet.  NVC letter stays that it takes 60 to 90 days to received an interview appointment but is not true for Ciudad Juarez

Did you petition for his CR1? My case was completed November 2018 & told us 3 months for interview as well has been 4 months.
