159 days here and still nothing 🤯 how frustrating is this, wow.

At least my green card status changed to “interview was scheduled” , we’ll see if that means anything ...

That means that they set a date for your interview 😉 You should get a letter with the date of your interview soon, usually it's about a month later.

frustration is an understatement for me 154 days here mine hasn't even changed to ready to schedule interview. ....arrrrrrrrrrrrr cmon already

Are you still on fingerprint fee was received? Sometimes the status didn't change until the interview is done. So maybe you'll get you interview appointment letter without knowing it was on the way.

for interview, do you need to bring an interpreter when beneficiary is not fluent in English???  I have heard both yes and not...

Thanks,

I have the same question and I hope someone here can share thier experience. Also, I wonder if it can be a friend or if it need to be a certified translator.

If the applicant cant understand or speak english i think you really need to have an interpreter.

And all i know is that the interpreter must be fluent in both language. Not sure if it needs to be a professional translator.

Note: my English is not fluent but i understand and speak english ok. I didnt use interpreter.

So same day that our EAD/AP Combo Card was sent, USCIS status for our AOS was updated to Interview was Scheduled. That's pretty fast for DC/VA office.

Could you update your timeline for interview date after you receive the notice? That would be appreciated. : )

Day 150 here, mine seems to be stuck on "Fingerprint review has been completed" of course the AP and EAD are both on "Received" still. Frustrating is the easier way of putting it!

Oooooo I can almost feel the money from your first paycheck on my finger tips. You're almost there!!!

My husband and I were traveling for the holidays to visit my family and just retuned on Tuesday.

I had fully expected that when we returned he would have received his AP/EAD card.  However, to my great surprise, we received a letter letting us know he had been scheduled for our interview which will take place on February 13th.

I am so pleasantly surprised as we had mentally prepared ourselves for at least one year before the green card interview and to know that we will have it less than one month from now and will not need to worry about AP/EAD is a wonderful notion.

Same thing here, just got my GC interview notice and I haven’t heard at all about EAD/AP. My interview date is Feb 20th, I wonder how long it takes to get the GC after the interview? I guess this depends on the office you are in ... but usually how long?

My office is Pittsburgh PA

If approved it usually take 1 week or less to 1 1/2 months.

Well at least base on what other member timelines here.

If youre approved and expecting a gc later after the interview they wont issue you an ead or ap anymore.

These are the average timelines.

https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aosstats.php?history=90

But they dont say much. My interview was on November 29 and I was recommended for approval. My case status went to being in review and I am still waiting. Could be my case is waiting on some shut down government agency's approval, so who knows...

Many people get approved on the spot and receive their greencard within two weeks in the mail.
