My interview went well, too! I even got a greencard stamp in my passport which is valid for 30 days so that I can start working until the green card is coming in the mail. However, my case updated right after the interview or even during the interview to 'Interview was completed and my Case must be reviewed' which is confusing to me.....:D

Congratulations! That’s awesome! That was the Boston office right? Our interview is the 24th and we are planning to travel the 8th if all goes well. Did you ask for the stamp? Or did they just stamp it ?

Yes, the interview was in Boston. I didn't ask for the stamp. But I asked how long it will take to receive the green card after the interview, since I am starting my new job next week. The IO then said that this is cutting it close. However, he offered me the stamp. :)

My stamp is valid for 30 days and under the stamp the IO wrote: 'Pending Card Production, I-485 approved on 1/10/19'.

My status is the same as yours and had been since the interview. Case must be reviewed.

Oh okay....that sucks and makes me worry a litte bit :(

Did the IO tell you that the case has to be reviewed? Have you considered taking any actions?

Congrats! I hope mine is changing soon as well. That would put my mind to rest a little bit.....

Do you know if we get an official notice in the mail about the result of the interview?

That’s awesome! We were planning on informing them of our travel plans after the interview so we could hopefully get the stamp. I’m glad to hear someone from that office did :) what kind of questions did they ask?

The interview itself was pretty easy. The IO asked how we met and what our professions are. He wanted to see the marriage certificate and our passports. I had to take fingerprints and a photo. Then we went through the questions in the I-485. That is basically it!

That definitely puts me at ease a bit we’ve been stressing over the interview!

I did not get a stamp at the interview. The IO said ours was a straight forward case and he was happy to close his day off with such a simple matter. He said he would recommend us for approval and that it could take anywhere from 1 to 3 months.

Meanwhile in the waiting room my husband heard every other couple say they'd have the greencard within 2 to 3 weeks. (He was never called in and sat through my 45 minute interview talking to other couples. )

On the letter I got it says to allow no more than 120 days before making a status enquiry. It is the same letter all the other couples got according to my husband.

Making an info pass appointment is not something I'm wanting to do quite yet since the nearest office is a two hour drive from us.

I'm not anxious to go home. I dont need to travel. My husband makes enough to enjoy a life of luxury at home if I wish. But I come from a working life, working 40 hours a week as a civil servant. It's hard to stay at home and be idle. I'm getting a bit of cabin fever.

Barwan, I think the issue here is that Little vixen was RECOMMENDED for approval. They were never actually approved.
Been seeing a few cases where that happens. It could be that they went back to the files to review after the interview and now are reviewing more things which could delay the process longer.

Littel_vixen- Calling USCIS could help. Try and Info-pass to see if they need more docs/unsure about something

Hope you get the approval soon!

Ooohhh I see, so there is a difference. Thanks
