Found out my AP was approved today (yay!) BUT my EAD is still stuck at fingerprint review completed (boo!)

 

I filed these both concurrently. I thought they'd get approved together. Will I not get a combo card? What is happening? I might give them a call tomorrow cause I've heard of EAD approved first with AP pending but not the other way around?

I think should call the USCIS  costumer service for an update. Usually the GC is sent after 1-4 weeks of the approval.

My status changed to "Card Was Picked Up By The USPS" and I was given a tracking number.
My status on the MyUSCIS platform is still "Case Was Received", but on the Case Tracker app and regular/old website it keeps being updated.  🤷‍♀️

05/29/2018 - VOH - pick up at US Consulate Frankfurt, 05/31/2018 - POE , 07/13/2018 - Wedding ❤️

 

AOS timeline

08/03/2018 - I-485/I-131/I-765 sent, 08/06/2018 - I-485/I-131/I-765 received, 08/14/2018 - NOA1 email/text message

08/13/2018 - NOA1 notice date on hard copy (in mailbox on 08/18/2018), 09/05/2018 - Biometrics appointment

11/28/2018 - Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview, 12/06/2018 - Interview was scheduled

01/10/2019 - AOS Interview, 01/10/2019 - Green Card approved!! ❤️, 01/19/2019 - Green Card in mailbox

 

EAD expedite due to financial hardship caused by hurricane florence 

09/19/2018 - requested expedite via call, 09/24/2018 - USCIS email asked proof of job offer via fax

11/28/2018 - called USCIS - apparently they never received my response via fax.. 🙄

12/06/2018 - USCIS opened my expedite request and email me asking for proof of financial loss

12/18/2018 - card is being produced, 12/19/2018 - Cases approved EAD/AP

12/24/2018 - EAD/AP approval letter in mailbox ❤️, 12/28/2018 - EAD/AP Combo Card in mailbox 🎉

Barwan, I think the issue here is that Little vixen was RECOMMENDED for approval. They were never actually approved. 
Been seeing a few cases where that happens. It could be that they went back to the files to review after the interview and now are reviewing more things which could delay the process longer.

 

Littel_vixen- Calling USCIS could help. Try and Info-pass to see if they need more docs/unsure about something

What is your status saying right now?

 

I had my interview today and I also got a stamp in my passport which is valid for 30 as greencard. So we got approved right away and the officer told us that we should get the greencard in 2-3 weeks.

 

My case status however changed after the interviw to 'Interview Was Completed And My Case Must Be Reviewed'.

Since I am still not able to work right now I decided to join my husband in Hawaii for about 4 months 😅 my Green Card Application in Virginia is still pending - question: is the green card interview always at your local home location? Or is it possible to have it an another uscis office? 

I’m just curios 😇

I think they schedule it at your home office but you can request a change after you received the invitation letter.
