Does anyone know / or has an idea why the process is slowing down so drastically the last couple of weeks?

On Monday I received a USPS Informed Delivery notification about two USCIS envelopes on the way. 
Yesterday I only received one, and it was the approval notice for I-131.
The other envelope contains the actual Combo Card. I was expecting to receive them together.
Are they normally sent and received separately? Or is the USPS system not exactly precise?

You can report that the mail is missing in 7 days since you got that notification. I remember they have this feature.

I think it's because of the holiday season? A lot of USCIS employees are still on vacation? Just guessing

That could be a reason and they also deserve their vacation time...it is just so painful to watch!

Hi, did you status online change to "card has been mailed" or something like this?

 

my status online says "card is being produced" since last Monday 7th

When my EAD status changed to "New Card is being Produced" I didn't received any notification from USCIS, just from the app... I  remember that when they received my AOS package, I  got 3 notifications by text and email from USCIS...

 

Anyone has the same situation like me??

 

Do you know how can I register to get future notifications???

Went super easy, not any weird questions, nothing. The officer said we had the perfect case, and that there was nothing to worry about.

We got approved on the spot, and got my passport stamped as well 😀😀

The reason you received 3 notifications from USCIS was because you submitted the G1145. It's a one time deal. All you can do now is register to be notified on myuscis.gov. That method is not always guaranteed.

Nothing much really. She asked how we met, and that's about it really. Went super easy, and most of the interview was me asking her questions lol

Oh, right, it needs to change to "Card Has Been Mailed", makes sense. 
Still says "New Card Is Being Produced", but I've already received two letters of approval. I-131 approval notice came yesterday and I-765 approval notice just came in the mail
