My case was approved and card is being produced. 😁  Finally! I was beginning to think this shutdown was going to be the end of me 🤣 Hopefully I get my card in the mail soon.

Our NOA was received on Aug 8 and only today I received 3 of the same text messages and an email that AOS interview is ready to be scheduled. I checked the website and the same is updated. No interview date yet. I know from previous responses, a lot of AOS applicants had this reflect shortly after the biometrics. Ours just took much longer. Anyone else received any text messages today?

What status did you have on your I-485 before that? I think mine are not working, it's still showing fingerprint fee received even 1 months after I did my biometrics.

Same as you. We had fingerprint fee received since NOA. No updates until yesterday. All of a sudden I received 18 of the same text messages in the course of a night after not hearing anything for months. The old USCIS website is reflecting the update but not the new one. I will stop using the new USCIS for anything -- it's total #######!

Thank you! I know the USCIS status update is not reliable and I shouldn't worry too much not having updates, but there's always the doubt that I could be missing something!

I think I'll call them to wish an happy new year and check if I'm not missing an RFE or something.

Based on months of following this thread, there are many others in the same situation so I would not worry too much about it.

 

For EAD and AP, I think the website only updates when it is approved.

For AOS, the only use for it now is that it removes the need for EAD and AP if that comes first. It's not going to happen for us since we're based in NY which seems to have a huge backlog of cases.

 

Things should start moving soon for Aug filers like us!

SO, the letter I received turned out to be a letter on how to expedite my EAD. I had called to expedite maybe 3 weeks ago and was ready to send over info. They never got back to me until now. Ugh.

 

At this point though, I feel it might be moot to try expedite because based on timeline I SHOULD be getting approved shortly? But they seem to not go in any order either 🤔 Should I hold out a little longer or just fax over expedite info? I don't want to complicate things

Today I just checked my case number for both cases (EA) and AOS, I wasn't expecting news from my AOS case, since I'm filling in San Bernardino CA. For my surprise the AOS status changed to Interview was scheduled! Now I feel pretty nervous bc we've booked flights to SEA the first week of Feb. Anyone has an idea how many days ( in average) do I have to wait for my interview? The case was updated just today, Dec 28th. 

I-765
- Case was received 08/14/2018
- New Card is being produced 01/11/2019
- Case was approved 01/14/2019
- Card was mailed to me 01/16/2019 
- Card was picked up by the USPS  01/16/2019 (With USPS tracking number)

- Card in hand 01/18/2019

- SSN in mail (requested in i-765) 02/01/209

 

i-485

- Case was received 08/14/2018

- Fingerprint fee was received 08/14/2018

- Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview 08/14/2018

- Interview was scheduled 12/28/2018

- Interivew notice by mail 01/07/2019

- Interview 02/05/2019

- GC approved in the spot 02/05/2019

- New card is being produced 02/05/2019

- Case was approved 02/07/2019

- Card was mailed to me 02/08/2019

yes i'll update my timeline  but i submit evrything in august it was rejected and i fill back early september and i received fingerprint notice starting november and 3days after the fingerprint i receive interview notice so my interview was becember 19th and according to the tracking number provided, my green card is arriving exactly at the end of the year.
